I keep hearing with resort stays you get 60 plus ten days for making dining reservations, will that be automatic or will I have to call to speak to a cast member on the 70 day?

Hello Marcee! I'm glad you came back to planDisney! Planning Disney Dining experiences is about as much fun as planning visits to the Disney Parks!

Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort can make their advanced dining reservations 60-days in advance of their arrival date. You can’t make reservations prior to that 60-day date. When you make your reservations on your 60-day mark, you can make them for the duration of your stay (up to 10-days)! Remember that you can use the online reservation system beginning at 6:00 AM for most restaurants! The telephone reservation line, (407)-WDW-DINE, opens an hour later at 7:00 AM. For a better chance at getting a reservation, I strongly recommend the online option!

The Walt Disney World Resort is also using mobile ordering as a convenient and safe method for ordering food and drinks. I was so impressed by the efficiency of mobile ordering during our most recent visit. I actually placed a mobile order while standing in line for our last attraction of the night at Magic Kingdom Park. The order was ready and waiting when we arrived back at our resort! It felt like another touch of Disney magic!
