I keep hearing people talk about a dessert party. What exactly is this? Do you need reservations? Is it available year round. We are going Sept 4 to Sept 11.

Hi Kim, what you keep hearing about is the fabulous Wishes Dessert Party (or the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party depending on what fireworks are being shown, right now through August 14 is the Summer Nightastic Fireworks Spectacular while Wishes is on vacation). This special event is held in the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station in the lowest area in front of the water and Castle. and advance booking is recommended by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Payment is required at time of booking and is $21.99 for adults and $11.99 for children (3-9 years old). Peak period pricing will be $25.99 for adults and $13.99 for children (prices subject to change).

There will be an amazing array of desserts on a buffet which is replenished as the night goes on. You have a perfect spot for viewing the fireworks while you enjoy your endless desserts, iced tea, lemonade, coffee, tea and milk. As of right now, the event is confirmed to be extended through the end of August. I am not sure if it will be extended through September, but it was available in October of last year, so hopefully they will keep extending it. Just call 407-WDW-DINE and make sure the cast member really looks for the event as I've heard it can sometimes be hard to find in the system.
