Hello, Melody!
You may have read the recent
Moms Panel Update outlining upcoming changes to
Disneyland Resort Park Rules, effective May 1, 2019. These changes include eliminating in-park smoking areas and requiring guests who may choose to smoke or vape to exit the parks for those activities. Another change is that ice must be contained in bottles or resealable bags rather than be loose in coolers. This will help improve flow through
security checkpoints. Dry ice will also not permitted in the parks.
As of May 1, 2019 guest
strollers may only be up to 31" wide and up to 52" long. While the existing policy has been that wagons are
not permitted, the new rules clarify that stroller wagons will specifically be prohibited. Yes, this includes products such as Keenz stroller wagons.
I understand that these updated Disney Parks rules will require some adjustment by some guests. In corresponding with Disney Parks Cast Members involved in making and implementing these changes, I've learned that these updates are done with great care, research, and deliberation. Such changes are always done with the sincere goal of improving the overall guest experience as much as possible. I appreciate how hard the Disneyland Resort Cast Members work to keep making it the Happiest Place on Earth.
I hope to hEAR from you again should you have any additional questions, Melody.
