Are the Keenz wagons allowed for special needs children?

    Greetings, Dawn!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. The Disneyland Resort is always very accommodating when it comes to special needs Guests so that everyone can have a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Guests with cognitive disabilities as well as Guests with mobility disabilities have a number of accommodations to help them experience attractions and entertainment without sacrificing the fun. One of these accommodations is to utilize a "stroller as wheelchair" if this is something that would benefit your child. To inquire about these services, you may contact Disability.Services@DisneyParks.com or call (407) 560-2547. You will also want to visit Guest Relations upon arrival for further information on this and accessibility concerns in the parks.

Although most attractions can be experienced easily even if your child is in a wheelchair, there are a couple that offer alternate viewing experiences to make the experience more enjoyable and accessible. The first of these is Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough and the second is Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Both of these allow you to skip narrow stairs which can be very helpful. Just let the Cast Members at these attractions know you would like to view the alternate experience when you arrive.

I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
