Hi there and thanks for visiting us here, at planDisney, with your great question.
Firstly, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather celebrate a milestone birthday than
Walt Disney World and, if my husband were to suggest booking a trip for my birthday, he would be getting serious brownie points - just saying!
As you probably already know, it is now possible to book
2026 holidays to Walt Disney World from here in the UK. That said, typically, in the past, a Free Dining
Special Offer has been released in April for visits during the following year.
When booking direct with the Walt Disney Travel Company, it is not possible to simply apply a new Special Offer to an existing Hotel + Ticket package.
So, for example, if you were to book a 2026 Hotel + Ticket package today and then in April a Free Dining promotion was announced, in order to take advantage of that Special Offer, you would need to cancel your original booking (which would incur a cancellation fee) and then make a new one.
There is, of course, no guarantee that a Free Dining promotion will be offered in April 2025 for stays in 2026 but, this has been the case for the past couple of years. Because of this, if I were you, I would probably hold off booking until April.
Top Tip - As you are planning to visit sometime in January/February, the dates of your visit might just fall when the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is taking place. Although I have yet to see this for myself, lots of my friends say it is one of their favourite Events so it's definitely worth a visit!
I do hope that this has answered your question. Please don't hesitate to send us any other questions which you may have about your upcoming trip - we will be happy to help. You can even
send a question directly to me, if you wish.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
