Kaylene -- thx great advice about NOT Hopping. I think we should just enjoy one park at a time......again, helpful. Do you have advice about souvenir shopping? We thought abt gving the older 2 gift cards w/set amnts to give $$ parameters....other ideas?

    Hi again, Eileen!

First, I'm glad to hear that you found the advice to be helpful. I can assure you that once you are there with the little ones, you'll be glad you decided to stay put and enjoy each Park to the fullest.

As far as souvenirs...you read my mind. ;) That is exactly what we do. We give each child a set amount on a Disney gift card and we tell them that, "When it's gone, it's gone." This helps them to make wise choices and to be sure they pick their favorite things. We've always started the trip out by telling them that we aren't doing any shopping until the end of the trip, unless there is something that is specific to a particular Park that they can't get anywhere else. For example, my sons often like to get souvenirs inside Tatooine Traders. This Star Wars themed gift shop is located inside Hollywood Studios. Certain items can only be found there. Similarly, my little girls love Animal Kingdom so they often choose a gift from there. We've found that by telling theme we'll go shopping on the last day, it has eliminated the asking for stuff. It just takes that right out of their mind as they know they'll get their chance later. Then, on our last day, we head to The World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time for this incredible place.

Hope this helps and let me know if there's anything else that I can help you with.

    Have a magical vacation,

    Kaylene
