    Kaylene, One of the dinners in December I want to celebrate Karen's birthday. Assuming I can still get reservations do the restaurants you recommended have birthday cakes I could request? What is the cost? How much in advance would I need to let them know.

    Hi Ellen,



    You could order a personalized, customized cake by calling the Cake Hotline at: 407-827-2253 and they could have that delivered to the restaurant for your dinner. They require at least 48 hours notice for the personalized cakes. However, since it is just the two of you and I'm assuming Karen would be okay without a customized cake with a favorite character on it, I have a different recommendation for you. The table service restaurants all have the "Celebrate Today" 6 inch cakes. These are available in chocolate or vanilla and advanced notice is not necessary. These cakes are currently $21.50. You can see a photo of what they look like by clicking this link HERE and scrolling down 14 photos to the heading "Cakes - Celebrate Today! Cake". In addition, when making your Advanced Dining Reservations, they will ask if you are celebrating anything special. At that time, you can tell them that you would like to surprise your daughter with one of those cakes. You can also mention it to the host or hostess upon check in at the restaurant.
