Hi Kaylene. My family (me, DH, DS (16), DS (8) and mom) are planning a trip 10/02/10- 10/17/10. Do you think it is a better idea to get 2 connecting rooms at A.S. Movie or a family suite at A.S. Music? How would I ask for connecting rooms? Thankyou

Hi Lindsey, You've chosen a wonderful time of the year to visit Disney. October is one of our favorite times!

While 2 connecting rooms is slightly less expensive, you may want to go with the Family Suite. Here's why: If there are only 2 adults traveling, Disney guarantees connecting rooms so the kids aren't by themselves in a room. However, with your Mom joining you, you'll have 3 adults. Due to that, you can request connecting rooms, but they won't be guaranteed.

The Family Suite does have 2 bathrooms, which is always a plus. Another option is the Moderate Resort Port Orleans-Riverside. Those rooms have a trundle bed that your 8 year old could sleep on.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if we can help you further.

    Happy planning!

    Kaylene
