Kay,congrats on being named to the panel. Kay we are going to stay at CSR for the first time after a few years at POP. I want to ask if we will still get that Disney feeling staying at this huge resort and not POP?

I am really enjoying the panel beyond belief! I love sharing what I know but also love learning so much more about my favorite place on earth!
Coronado Springs resort will definitely have a different feel then the Pop Century but I have yet to stay at any Disney resort and not feel the magic!  I think you will find a more relaxed atmosphere and the resort is also a convention center resort so you might find a more adult crowd at times as well.  I don't consider this a negative at all.....pools and recreation and dining can be less hectic and crowded when you have convention groups there as they are busy in their meetings and have their own dining arrangements.
You will also enjoy the added amenities of the moderate resort.  You will find small refrigerators in your room, themed swimming pools with slides, bike and boat rentals, fishing and arcades.  Coronado Springs sits on a 22 acre lake and so you can enjoy these added activities.  The main pool is called the Dig Site and it has the decor of a Mayan pyramid.  The kids love the 123 foot waterslide and the adults love the huge whirlpool!  And if you don't want to go that far for a dip, each guestroom area has an additional pool but they will be unguarded.
Coronado Springs also has a health club that includes a spa and salon so these are great added amenities for a moderate resort that are usually only found in the deluxe category.
Pop Century certainly has a more "kid" theme but you will not lose any of the Disney service by changing resorts for this trip.  I love to try new resorts when I get the chance. There will be some things you like at one and other things you like at others.
I stayed at Coronado Springs in December and really enjoyed my visit.  It was just a great place to come back to after a busy day in the parks.....sitting by the lake was so relaxing!  Walking into the lobby area was like walking into a whole new world.  I loved it!!!!!
