Hi Kay. TJMS is participating in the National Science Olympiad in mid May. We plan to take 16 students to Disney. The total party will be appoximately 30 people. Does Disney have student discounts or group rates?

Hi Matt!  Sounds like a great group you are planning to take to Disney in May!

Disney understands when large groups need some help with the planning and budget. They have a separate group sales division that can help you organize and book the rooms you need as well as tickets for the parks during your stay. You can reach them at 407-828-3318  and be sure to have the dates and number of guests that will be coming. If you know the number of rooms that are needed this is helpful too. (You need a minimum of ten rooms to book at a group rate.)

Another option for your group is to extend their educational experience through the Disney Youth Education Series.  Please go to this website and learn more about what Disney can offer besides attractions and characters. http://www.disneyyouth.com/youth-education-series/ They will have the time of their life while learning some of the secrets of Disney. The site will show ticket prices and as well as information on securing accommodations.  You can contact them directly at 1-877-939-6884.

Hopefully you will be able to find some success for your group through either options. I would love to continue to help you if you have any questions come up as your planning begins. Hmmm....maybe a nice Disney trip in May would be fun for me too!
