Hi Kay, Staying at Pop Dec. 11-17. I saw you wrote about Pop in a previous question. My ? is which building is best to request as far as quietest? Can you request lake view? I know requests are not guarenteed, but still going to try. Thank you!

Hi Jannel!  Many of us on the panel do love the value resort, Pop Century!  Most of the buildings are not horrendously far from the main building, Classic Hall, and yet you can still find some that are quiet and more peaceful. Many of these overlook the lake making them a great value for a Disney room!

The 90's area has the fewest number of rooms and is about as far as you can get and not near the lake.  It does share a pool with the 80's rooms so you will get pool noise if you have a room overlooking this recreational area. The 80's grouping are closer buildings towards the lake with a few wings that can have lake views.

The 50's area is quite large and includes another of the three resort pools.  This one is in the shape of a bowling pin and very cute! If you request I suggest asking for a lake view room in the building housing 3101-3472 rooms.

The 60's buildings are prime ones since they overlook the main resort pool, Hippy Dippy Pool and Kiddie Pool.  However, there are rooms that are lake side that are wonderful and you can request this building era with a lake view.

My optimum choice for a quiet experience would be the 70's area in the 6101-6472 building.  Request a lake side room and you will find it very relaxing and enjoyable. Good luck with your request and yes they are not guaranteed but Disney does want to please their guests and will do everything they can to provide you with the experience of your dreams.  Most guests at this resort will be requesting a room that is close to the Classic Hall so let's hope you don't have any problems!
