    Kay, we plan on watching the parade from the area of the ice cream shop on Main Street. What time does the 3:00 parade come through there?

    Hi Lisa!  The entire parade takes about 18 minutes to wind its way through the Magic Kingdom park.  If the parade is starting near the Barbershop on the Town Square then it will be just minutes before it reaches you at the Ice Cream Shop. This year the parades have been preceded by Kermit and Miss Piggy and friends honoring the Voluntear of the day. So plan on getting a spot early.  We often have one or two members of the group scout out a good spot and sit while the rest finish an attraction or shop. It is hard to expect young children to wait patiently yet once the parade begins they will be mesmerized and it is worth the time you have sat at the curb! Perhaps watching from the Ice Cream Shop is a great idea....waiting while you eat that cool delicacy will certainly help pass the time more quickly!
