Hi Kay, we picked the CSR for the beds. We don't think we'll need to visit more than one park a day so we got base tickets to the parks, but with the free dining would you suggest an upgrade to a hopper to get better food selection, is it worth the xtra $?

Hi Melinda!  I am a fan of Park Hopper tickets because I do like the idea of being able to head somewhere on a whim to see a parade or a firework show again or take in that one ride that eluded us on our day at that park.  I don't think it is necessary to upgrade just for the choice of dining locations, however.

Some of Disney's best restaurants are not in the parks but instead in the many resorts around the property.  I am sure you can find great choices for your dining needs just by checking out some of the other resorts during your stay.  You can choose a park location for a lunch meal and if nothing hits you for dinner at that park then pick a resort and head to it for your evening meal enjoyment!  I just visited one of Disney newest locations at the Kidani Village (Animal Kingdom Lodge villas) called Sanaa and it was so good we can't wait to book it for our next trip!

Definitely look over the resort dining choices before upgrading.  You can always leave a park, head to a nearby resort and eat, and head back to that park for the rest of the evening.  The Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Contemporary resorts are all on the monorail close to the Magic Kingdom.  Wilderness Lodge is a short bus ride away.  The Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk, and Boardwalk area are all five minutes from the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT!
