Hi Kay, I noticed you are a grandmother. I'm a grandmother also. I noticed you have many years of Disney experience. Do you have a favorite resort or do you stay at different ones? I will be visiting with daughter and her husband and 2 kids. Thank you.

Hello fellow grandmother!!!  It is so special to experience Walt Disney World now with your grandchildren.

I do have several favorite resorts.  Many years ago when the kids were young we loved staying at the Grand Floridian because it was near the Magic Kingdom.  We felt there was a little less hustle and bustle at this resort and after a day in the parks we enjoyed returning to the music of the Grand Lobby and winding down.  Then about 9 years ago our children's emphasis changed to wanting to be near EPCOT and since then we have loved the Yacht and Beach Club resorts.  Now with two grandchildren I believe we will again return to a resort near the Magic Kingdom for future visits.  You have many choices and you can compare them all on the disney web site.   http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/resorts/resortBenefitComparison?id=BOSOPResortCategoryComparisonPage

Decide the interests of your family and go from there....you can not go wrong at any Disney resort!  I love trying different ones as well and we will be "camping" out in May at the Fort Wilderness cabins!
