Hi, Kay. I'm a friend of Rick and Carla's and will be going to be in Disney with my family (kids 5 & 8) over Easter. We're wondering if there are any special activities to do on Easter and Carla suggested we contact you. Thank you! Katie

I was so excited to see your question in my queue this afternoon!  I'm so glad you came to me to ask and hopefully I can help you with your planning!

Since Easter is still a couple of months away I cannot give you definite information for the activities that will be taking place.  I would like you to click HERE to see all the events that took place in 2009 as that will help give you an idea of what might happen at the different resorts.  You can also call your resort directly to see if they have any plans made yet for that time.

The resorts basically decide on their own as to what they want to do and how much they want to do for that holiday. The Magic Kingdom will have a parade and other activities for the kids where Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny participate. EPCOT had egg hunts and games and many resorts had candy hunts. If you need some help at your resort with Easter baskets (such as placing them in your room), just contact your concierge or the front desk for their assistance.

As an additional suggestion for you please be sure and have all your dining reservations completed as soon as possible.  This is a very busy time at Walt Disney World and many guests wait until the last minute and then are disappointed that they can't get the dining they had hoped.  You can do this on line at www.disneyworld.com or by calling 407-939-3463.  It is better you make them now and cancel when it gets closer if you find you are not going to need them.  This is especially true for all character dining.

Please don't hesitate to ask me more questions as you get them.  I would love to help in any way I can to make this a great Disney vacation for you!
