    Hi Kay, hope you are doing well :) how long is the bus fr BLT to Blizzard Beach? Which other Disney resort has the shortest bus ride to BB? Tyke's peak looks so fun & I wonder if we can fit into our first trip or wait for next time. Thank you so much

    Hi Jessica!  My family LOVES Blizzard Beach and we started with the Tyke's Peak area!  My grandchildren just love the feeling of independence with the short slides and chutes. Kids actually have to be measured to see if they are too BIG!  Adults must accompany the young ones and I found it was best to be at the end of a ride to "catch" them and redirect them to where you or they want to go. There are also great inner tubes for the long lazy river type ride called Cross Country Creek that have bottoms for the little ones so they won't fall through. Just hang on to them and they will have such fun!

    The closest resort to Blizzard Beach is Coronado Springs and you can actually walk there using nice sidewalks if you choose. Bay Lake Towers and the Contemporary will have a dedicated bus to Blizzard Beach that will only take about 16 minutes. This would be the fastest and most efficient way to reach the park from your resort.

    You will find that Blizzard Beach can be reached from most any resort in anywhere from 12-20 minutes by Disney bus transportation. It is fairly centrally located making it an easy stop for a warm day. I hope you can fit it in and don't forget right at the entrance to the water park is one of the most fun mini golf courses on property.  You can do two things in one day!
