Hi Kay! You have been a great help! Question is, we have res @ CM for 8:45 am.. staying @ CBR, we will have our car, should we drive or wait on bus & what is easiest way to get there? Do u suggest using Disney transportation?

Hi Michele! It is always hard to decide what to do when trying to get from one point to the other.  Disney offers great free bus transportation to all points on property but sometimes having to make several transfers isn't in the best interest of your time or family.

For the early morning reservations at a resort I will almost always suggest families take a cab or drive.  It allows you to have more control of the time and gives the little ones that bit more sleep that they will need as the days go on.  My recommendation is to drive to the Contemporary for your Chef Mickey reservation. Be sure to have the parking pass you will be given at check-in in the window and prepare to show your ID at the resort guard station. They will direct you to where you can self park or you can simply valet park for the morning.  Valet parking is $12 a day now so you might want to save that money to spend elsewhere.  My husband will pay anything to make his life easier!  You can get a map with directions from any cast member at the front desk or concierges desk at your resort.

This might be a good time to hop on a boat and visit Fort Wilderness.  It is only minutes away and a fun place to stop and see while you are at Disney.  You can visit the stables where the Disney horses call home and if you are lucky they might even be working on a horse in the blacksmith shop.  Lunch at Trails End is a buffet treat if you are hungry by that time too. Just a thought for you to do something different on this vacation!
