Hi Kay, fellow Hoosier here. Given the choice, and a difference of $250, would you stay ten days at a KW studio or AS Music family suite. All I need is the microwave. Also, I read that you can request a microwave at BC, it this true and does it cost extra?

Hi Jaynee! I think I might have answered a similar question by you earlier this evening and will just add to it!

The All Star Family Suite is a nice new addition to this resort and one that is sought after by many now.  The Old Key West resort is definitely a few steps above as far as the amenities of the room and the general resort.  My family prefers their comfort so we opt for the moderate or deluxe locations.  If you honestly don't feel you will be spending much time at your resort then it is not necessary to spend the extra money on things you won't utilize anyway.  That is something you can decide by going to the disney website, www.disneyworld.com  and comparing the two locations.  You will have a microwave in your studio at Old Key West and you can use a microwave in the food court at the All Star resort.  Microwaves can be requested at various locations but it is not a guarantee...if it is necessary then it is best to make reservations at the location where you are assured this will be part of the room.

Sounds like you will have a magical ten days at my favorite place in the world!
