    Hello Kay! I am attending a formal event in December in WDW, wondering what you think the weather will be. Trying to plan my dress, not sure how cold it will be in the evenings? Hoping for nice weather! Any recomendations?

    Hi Cathy! What a wonderful time of year to celebrate just about anything at Walt Disney World. There are so many special things going on in the parks and in the resorts so it will be a festive time for all!

    The weather in Florida can vary from day to day and sometimes refuses to follow what the experts are saying. But if you go by the averages the temperatures will be between 53 and 73 degrees.  If you are planning to do something outside in the early mornings or evening then be sure you have a wrap with you. If the event is mainly going to be inside choose something that you can add the wrap for the outdoor part and take it off for the inside reception where it might get warm. Not sure I explained that very well....simply bring a wrap!

    Most people who plan an event at Disney at any time of year will always have a weather back-up location so they won't be stressing. Hopefully your host will be doing the same thing and the evening will be spectacular no matter what mother nature serves for weather! Have a memorable time!
