Hi! I am Katia and I live in Brazil. I am going to Disney with my husband and two sons 1 and 4 years old. It will be the first time at Disney for the kids. We will be there November 30 until December 11...are there special programs to do with my kids?

Hi Katia! I am sure your entire family is getting excited about your upcoming Disney vacation!

There are no specific programs for the ages of your children but there is a multitude of great things for them to see and do in each of the four parks. There will be parades and entertainment shows as well as night time fireworks.  When you arrive at the parks make sure you pick up the Times Guide as that will let you know when and where to be for some of these great happenings.  It will also tell you what Disney characters will be appearing in each park and at what time so you can be sure your little ones won't miss out on seeing their favorite.  If you have any questions please stop by Guest Relations and they will be happy to answer and assist you for your visit in the park.

Check out the attractions for each park by going to the website, www.disneyworld.com. It will let you know if there is a height restriction and will give you a short description of each one. Make a list of things you surely want to do and make a plan for each park. Since your vacation covers over a week's time you will have plenty of opportunity to visit each park more then once. Enjoy your stay and don't rush and stress out. There is so much magic happening everywhere in the parks and often it is good to stop and experience it instead of keeping with a set plan.

If you and your husband wishes to spend an evening out you can use the wonderful Kids Nite Out Babysitting service. They will come to your room and sit with the kids. The minimum is 4 hours. The sitter will know the ages of your children and bring activities appropriate for each age. You can get more information at kidsniteout.com.

Make sure you try to get some dining reservations for the family.  Try for at least one character meal as the kids will love that.
