Hi Kathy. I read a question from a reader about transportation from DTD to Poly. You mentioned "take the Poly bus from DTD" My ? there a bus that runs from the Poly to DTD? Where would it be and where would you find the bus from DTD?

Hi, Lindsey!  From each WDW resort, you can take a bus directly to Downtown Disney. (Boat service is provided from Port Orleans Resorts.)  The bus stop at the Polynesian is just outside the front doors of the Great Ceremonial House.  Any Cast Member will be happy to point you in the right direction.

You can catch a bus back to your resort from Downtown Disney at either the bus stop by the Marketplace or the West Side/Pleasure Island bus stop.    Always feel free to ask your bus driver for information on bus routes, schedules, or any other transportation question.

Transportation around Disney sounds confusing at first, but once you are there it will all make sense and it will be a snap for you!   You may also want to try the Transportation Wizard  at   This is a great transportation resource.  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
