Hi Kari, Is it possible to pay for 1 person on a Disney Cruise using your DVC points, and pay cash for the rest of your reservation?

Howdy Raquel!  Great question!  Yes, you can pay for one (or more) Disney Cruise Line Guest(s) using DVC points and pay cash for the other(s).  DVC Member Services will walk you through the process when you are ready to book your cruise.

We went on a Disney Cruise three years ago and loved every minute of it!!  The service we received was fabulous!  Everything was awe-inspiring and done in true Disney style!

You may be aware of all of this but I want to remind you about a few things so that you do not have any surprises once you book your cruise.

DVC Members cannot book and travel on Disney Cruise Line vacations within the last 4 months of their use year.

There is a non-refundable $95 transaction fee per confirmed reservation.  If you book and then change your date, you will have to pay the $95 fee again.

Once you book your cruise, your Vacation Points are converted to Reservation Points and cannot be banked.

I don't want to scare you off from booking a cruise or making any other Disney Collection vacation reservations.  I just want to make sure you have all of the information you need when booking.  I assure you will love every minute of your cruise.  Member Services will walk you through each step of the reservation process and ensure that you have all of the information you need to maximize your Disney Vacation Club experience.  I hope this helps you in your planning.  Enjoy your cruise or your next magical Disney vacation!
