Hi Linda!
Welcome back! Once again, THANK YOU for sharing your questions with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!!!
This is a great question and in the process of researching it, your question helped educate both me and a Cast Member, so I thank you for that as well!
Based on information from the Front Desk and Housekeeping, I was informed the coffee pots in the
rooms at
Disney's Contemporary Resort can vary from room to room. Some will have single serve pots (i.e. Keurig or Cuisinart) and others have the more traditional coffee pots you would find in hotel rooms. Over the past three months, I stayed at two other
Deluxe Resort Hotels. They both had Keurig coffee makers with regular and decaffeinated coffee as well as tea. Based on past experiences, the other coffee makers feature Joffrey's Coffee, which is also a great way to start the morning.
You do have the option to request a specific coffee maker from the Front Desk during check-in and they will accommodate you based on availability.
My parents both drink very specific types of coffee (one regular and one decaf). They do not go anywhere without their single serve coffee pods and coffee maker. I love traveling with them because I know I will always have fantastic coffee options! While I would hate for you to pack something you don't need and I feel like you will love your in-room coffee options, I understand completely if you want to pack your own coffee maker. I want every moment of your vacation to be magical and I fully embrace starting the day with your favorite cup of coffee!
Once again, thank you for this wonderful question! I can't wait to see what type of coffee pot I have in my room during my next visit to Disney's Contemporary Resort!
I love how thorough you are being with your planning!! Enjoy every magical moment!
