Hi Tanya,
Thank you so much for your question! I apologize for the delay in getting back to you my "Mom" duties have kept me on my toes this week!
Having breakfast with Mickey and his pals is the perfect way to start a day while at Walt Disney World! Personally, one of my favorite character breakfast experiences is at
Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort. This restaurant provides an upbeat atmosphere, a great buffet and a whole lot of fun for the entire family. My kids absolutely love that they can watch the Monorail pass through the building every few minutes. You can easily walk to the Magic Kingdom when your meal is through (or take the Monorail). If your plans are to visit another Disney theme park, there is transportation from this location as well.
As for dinner for your daughter's birthday, I went straight to my 8-year old to get her opinion too! If you are looking for character dining, we love
1900 Park Fare. If you are looking to do something a little different such as a dinner show, our favorite is the
Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. Another of our favorites, and a must-do on every trip is the
Rainforest Cafe, they have locations at Downtown Disney and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
Hope this helps, have a great trip!
