Hi Karen! TIA for all the great advice. Another question-can we check in for cruise from a Disney resort or can it only be done at terminal. I heard you could do it previously but not sure if still available to do. I know there are DCL reps at hotels.

    Hi Jennifer,

You're welcome - I really enjoy answering questions from fellow cruisers!  Yes, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, and have purchased the Disney Cruise transfer service to Port Canaveral, you will check in for your cruise prior to boarding the motorcoach.

You will be left instructions the day before regarding the handling of your luggage and the time of departure for the port.  They have been "tweaking" the system a bit over the past few months, but currently you can do everything right from your resort.  There will be a cruise desk in the lobby with a DCL cast member available to assist you.

    Have a great time!
