Karen, Thanksfor your answer. I am good w/ choice of Poly. Sounds wonderful. Trying to decide on DDP. Do you think Deluxe is worth extra $? Don't mind having down time as DD2 will need the quiet. Curious as to what you think. Thanks for your help!!

    Hi Catherine,

Welcome back, and thanks for your follow-up question!  I think that the Disney Dining Plan is a great value for those guests that prefer table service meals and character experiences.  The plan will pay for itself on those meals alone.  This being said, I must admit that I've never used it!  My children are just getting to the age where I think it might be of value to us.  When the kids were that young, we tended to be the non-planner planners.  Like you, we traveled in September and found that due to the limited park hours, we didn't like being tied up at table service meals for large portions of the day.  Also, like your daughter, sometimes kids just need quiet, or aren't ready to sit and be patient during your meal.   To save even more money, I would ship myself a box with healthy, familiar snacks for the little ones.  This cut down on the snack spending.

So while I wouldn't discourage the Standard Dining Plan, the Deluxe Dining Plan on the other hand, is serious business!  This is a lot of dining, and well worth it if you are ready to commit to a schedule of character, table and/or dinner show dining.  I don't know if that is a reasonable expectation with a two year old.

    Hope this helps!
