Hi Karen, Single mom with DD 7 and DD 9 - 1st cruise 8/29 -9/2. Can we get copies of the activities schedule prior to going on our cruise? I like to plan ahead. Staying on board at Nassau -- what are your must do's? Love characters, shows and swimming

    Hi Sue,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I know what you mean about planning ahead, I like to know what to expect before my vacation even begins.  Unfortunately the schedules are not released prior to sailing, but that doesn't mean you can't find some off-the-record information out there.  My favorite website to browse prior to sailing is www.disboards.com  They have an entire section of their message board dedicated to Disney Cruise Line.  Here you will find that others are more than happy to share their recent experiences and schedules from their cruises.

We typically stay onboard in Nassau as well.  One of the most popular things on this day for girls is the hair braiding.  This is done on deck 9, and I strongly suggest making an appointment the day you board because the spaces fill up fast.

You will definitely want to attend the Sail-Away Celebration as well as the Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party, these two family-friendly parties are unlike any other parties on the high seas.

My daughters are seven and eight, so let me know if you have any more questions!
