Hi Karen, saw a response of yours regarding travel in Jan as a fav time of yours for low crowds. I want to go in Jan as well, do you think the last week of Jan going into first few days of Feb. has typically low crowds as well? Or a better week in Jan? TY

    Hi Victoria,

Thanks for your question!  I've visited Walt Disney World during every week of January, so I'm more than happy to give you my thoughts.  You've picked a great week in my opinion!  In my experience, the week after the New Year is always very low crowds, and then things pick up a little mid-month due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.  Now that our kids are in school, we tend to lean more towards the end of the month (like you) and have found the crowd levels to be very manageable, and the weather has a better chance of being a bit warmer.  The only exception was when the Super Bowl was in Tampa, crowds tended to be a little heavier than usual.  This year the Super Bowl is in Miami, but I don't think it will have a significant impact on the parks due to the distance.

    Hope this helps, happy planning!
