Karen, In panic mode..maybe you can help. When I booked my 3night Bahamas cruise the cast member said that birth certificates would suffice as ID, as does my cruise document. Tried to do online check in and it only gives me "Passport" as a type o

    Hi Allison,

Deep breaths, no need to panic!  Your birth certificate (along with a photo id) will suffice for your voyage to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral.  Although the option is there online to enter your passport number, it is not a required field.  So simply leave that blank and be sure to bring your birth certificates with you.

As intimidating as it can be to get all the paperwork completed and correct, rest assured that you could forget to check-in online and there would still be the opportunity to complete the required paperwork once at the terminal.  Doing it ahead (either online or from the documents sent to your home) simply saves time.

    Have a great time!
