Hi Karen! Going on our 1st Disney Cruise in Oct. on the Magic for 3night Bahamian Cruise. My question is when the ships dock in Nassau can we stay on the ship? Do they continue to offer activities and (more important) spa appointments? Thank you

    Hi Allison,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  With a few cruises under our belt, we ultimately decided that we love having the opportunity to stay on the ship while docked in Nassau.  Most of the guest will participate in a port adventure or explore the island on their own - which leaves a fairly empty ship for those of us that prefer to stay onboard to enjoy.

You'll be happy to hear that not only do they continue with a full schedule of activities and entertainment, the spa is open!  Even better, they tend to offer spa specials for the in-port days.  I strongly suggest that you tour the spa the day you board the ship and make your spa reservation for the Nassau day at that time.

The only thing to keep in mind is that the merchandise shops are closed while in port, so be sure to make any necessary purchases the night before.

    Hope this helps!
