Howdy, Jill! Thanks for bringing another great question to planDisney. I am honored to have the opportunity to help you and your family plan this magical trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Much like Belle, you are a very caring daughter to be thinking about your father and how he can move around the Disneyland Resort with comfort and ease. I am delighted to inform you that
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) and manual wheelchairs are available for rent. You will find the most current rental prices
here. They can be rented east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance or at the Pixar Pals parking structure. As reservations are not taken, I strongly recommend arriving early as availability is limited. Also, Guests are invited to
bring their own ECVs or wheelchairs into the Disneyland Resort.
If I may, I’d love to offer additional tips to make the trip more comfortable for you, your father and your family. Did you know that with the
Disneyland mobile app you can place mobile orders for snacks and meals in advance? This is a very popular feature with my family! Sometimes as we are in an attraction queue, we will use
Mobile Ordering to have our snacks ready and waiting for us. One of my go-to snacks is the
Mickey-shaped Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar! Also,
Disney Genie+ is a great way to reduce time spent waiting in queues. The Disney Genie+ service gives you access to
nearly 20 attractions with Lightning Lanes and will save you hours of time, particularly during the busier summer season at Disneyland Resort. Talk about phenomenal cosmic power - you ain't never had a friend like Disney Genie+! At least that's what my tired legs told me on our last trip! You can purchase Disney Genie+ when you purchase your tickets, or you can add it to your day after you have entered the theme park, using the Disneyland mobile app.
I bet you're excited to start planning your vacation and we are right here to help as you need us! You’ve got a friend in me!
