Hi, We are in FL June 6 -18th 08. We all want to visit MK, and will split into 2 for a day at DHS and DAK each, eventually all meeting up at DHS for Fantasmic . What are the best days to go for smaller queues and how do we guarantee seats for Fantasmic?

I've been researching this same time frame for our family trip so I have some helpful tips.

First, Wednesdays in June seem to be the best for touring the Magic Kingdom in order to avoid the Summer crowds.

For Fantasmic, I would tour on a Tuesday and see the 10:30 show. For closer seats you'll still need to arrive about 40 minutes in advance. For seats in the back rows, 25 minutes ahead of show time is sufficient. I plan to arrive about 10-10:05 as I like the view from the rows higher up anyhow. This day would be good for touring both the Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom parks. The next day, I would head to the Magic Kingdom.

If you are touring other parts of Florida, the earlier in June that you set aside for your WDW adventures, the less crowds that you will encounter as many schools in the United States do not get out for Summer vacation until at least mid-June. My son's school in Pennsylvania gets out for vacation on June 10, for example. But the school in NY that I graduated from gets out much later - this year on June 26.
