This June we r staying @ POR. We r hoping to have breakfasts @ other resorts, namely Cape May Café (Beach Club), 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) and Chef Mickey's (Contemporary). We will not have a car, is this realistic?

Hello Jennifer.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love enjoying the different breakfast options Walt Disney World has to offer.  When my family and I are vacation, we certainly don't mind heading to other resorts to dine.  We don't use a car either, so it does take a little bit of time getting there but I think it's worth it.  From Disney's Port Orleans Resort to the Grand Floridian and Disney's Contemporary Resort, I suggest hopping on a bus to Magic Kingdom and then boarding the monorail to the resort that your breakfast is at.  To get to Disney's Beach Club Resort, I would take a bus to Hollywood Studios and then from there either board the boat to Disney's Beach Club or walk following the path.  You can always ask at your resort's concierge desk if you are unsure of how to get somewhere.

I say go for it, especially Cape May Cafe's breakfast - it's so good!  If I can help you with anything, please come back and ask.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
