We are going in June for Star Wars weekends. We are going in celebration of our Anniversary. Is there something special I can do for my husband concerning Star Wars as an Anniversary gift?

    Hi Christine!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

There are a lot of special Star Wars based merchandise that is only available during Star Wars Weekends.  I suggest getting something from the special store that will be set up as an anniversary gift. They have everything from special t-shirts to figurines to framed art, light sabers, etc.  They have even sold things like R2D2 shaped projectors in the past.

You might also want to have a special meal.  In Disney's Hollywood Studios itself, I think the Brown Derby is a great choice.  It is a little expensive, but makes a nice spot for a romantic meal.  If you want the best place for a romantic dinner, I suggest making a reservation at the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort.

By the way, you want to arrive to the park at least 30 to 45 minutes early to get a good spot to see the Storm Troopers interact with the guests before the park opens.  Also be sure to catch the parade and the Hyperspace Hoopla at the end of the day.  The Hoopla is a lot of fun!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
