June 11- June 18. My husband was supposed to make advanced reservations for our four year old daughter to have breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table and didn't. I called today and was told that they are sold out. Is there any other way to get reservations?

    Hi Fawn:

Spouses have their strengths.  One of mine is making advance dining reservations, so its my job to snag the hard-to-get Disney dining reservations.  My spouse has other strengths, but making advance dining reservations isn't one of them.

It's very disappointing that you cannot get reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table.  It's one of Disney World's most popular restaurants, so I'm not surprised that reservations book up that early.  What I would do is to book a reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot where your family can experience a special princess-themed character meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  I would then check for Cinderella Royal Table availability periodically.  Cancellations happen, and there is a chance you can grab a reservation due to a cancellation.  Being flexible with your dining times can really increase your chances of getting a table.  You can also try a walk-up, but because the restaurant is popular, you may end up having a long wait or being told there is no availability.  But the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall character meals feature many Disney Princesses and a lot of quality time with the princesses.  It's likely your daughter will love the experience at either restaurant.

    Enjoy your vacation.
