Ahoy, Emily! Thanks for bringing your Disney Cruise Line question to planDisney. It sounds like you are already settled into 2026 and eager to make plans to set sail in 2027.
As of right now, only the itineraries for early 2027 sailings have been released, so bookings are open for cruises setting sail on dates as far out as January to May 2027. Unfortunately, there is no official date as to when the Summer 2027 itineraries will be released, but you can expect that the announcement will be made very soon with booking dates opening shortly thereafter. For reference, the 2026 Summer Itineraries were released in early February 2025 and reservations started on February 17, 2025, so definitely be on the lookout within the next month or so.
I highly recommend making sure that you are signed up for the official
Disney Cruise Line email updates, which conveniently bring news like itinerary announcements right to your inbox. You can also always find the most up-to-date information on the Disney Cruise Line website. Once your desired timeframe is announced, you can narrow down your cruise search by departure port to get a list of all sailings leaving specifically from
Galveston, Texas. Just click on the
“Plan a Cruise” tab at the top of the main website and then click on the third white box labeled "Departing from" and select your home port.
I do want to warn you that the Summer 2026 itineraries do not include any sailings from Galveston, but you never know what news the Summer 2027 itinerary announcement could bring! Currently, the
Disney Magic is the only ship sailing from Galveston and cruises are scheduled from January to April 2026 and again from November 2026 to April 2027. The Disney Magic will be joining the Disney Wonder for Alaskan itineraries for the first time in Summer 2026, so it will be departing from Vancouver, Canada during those months instead.
