On the July 2015 Wonder Alaska Cruise, what night is formal night?

    Ahoy, Celeste!

I hope this answer makes it to you in time before you sail away with Captain Mickey on your fabulous Disney Cruise to Alaska!! You're going to have such a WONDERful time on your Disney Cruise Line vacation!

When it comes to dining attire for your sailing, you'll enjoy five "cruise casual" evenings, a Semi-Formal night and a Formal Night (two great opportunities to dress-up and take advantage of the onboard photography services!). Though subject to change, from recent trip reports it looks like your Formal evening will fall on night two (At Sea Day), and the Semi-Formal night should happen on night five (Juneau).

These dress-up nights are optional, but most cruisers will take advantage of the opportunity to get dressed up to enjoy the evening. Ship's photographers will be on hand in the lobby with several backdrop choices for family photos. We love these evenings because the Disney Characters are usually available for photo ops in their formal wear! Have you ever seen Donald Duck in a tux? He's so cute!! Make sure to get a photo on the lobby atrium staircase - such a beautiful backdrop.

I hope this helps, and I'm wishing you an awesome voyage on the Disney Wonder. You're about to embark on the trip of a lifetime!

Have a magical day! Bon Voyage! - Diane W.
