There is truly something magical about the way that Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park comes alive in the evening hours. Viewing Rivers of Light is one of the best ways to marvel at the beauty of Disney's Animal Kingdom after the sun sets.

Of course theme park hours are always subject to change, but currently, the Walt Disney World website has hours for Disney's Animal Kingdom posted through July 14, 2019. So far, every day in July that is posted shows 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the operating hours of Disney's Animal Kingdom. The website also shows that Rivers of Light will be performed each of those evenings at 9:00 p.m. Guests will be able to view the show prior to heading out at the end of the park's operating day.

On select days, Disney's Animal Kingdom will also have Extra Magic Hours from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. During Extra Magic Hours, the theme parks are open only to guests of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Like regular park hours, the schedule for Extra Magic Hours can be found on the Walt Disney World Website or by checking your My Disney Experience mobile app.

Occasionally, special ticketed events such as Disney After Hours will take place after the theme parks close to daytime guests. However, as of right now, Disney After Hours events are only scheduled at Disney's Animal Kingdom through April 2019. You can keep checking the Walt Disney World website to see if additional dates are added.
