Hi Tori,
How exciting, your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is quickly approaching! I’m so glad you’ve planned time for golf at the
Palm Golf Course; I also love to personalize my trip with additional plans or experiences outside of the theme parks.
Parking at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is reserved for Guests staying at this tropical resort, or while enjoying dining there. It is up to the security guard’s discretion for a quick service visit to
Captain Cook’s, but I’ve had lots of success parking there on similar visits (especially during the less busy lunch period). Please know you cannot plan to park here for the duration of your golf outing, but if you have a hankering for those famous
pulled pork nachos you should be able to park there after golf for your lunch.
When you visit for lunch, you can also get a refreshing cocktail to go from either the
Tambu Lounge or
Kona Café - both are located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House, and you can bring your drinks to Captain Cook’s indoor seating or patio to enjoy with your meal. My friends and I like to
mobile order from Captain Cook’s when we arrive at the resort, then split up as one grabs our drinks, and the others get the food and a seat. On my most recent visit I also tried the chicken wings – they were perfectly seasoned, and the spice went beautifully with my pineapple Lapu Lapu! Don’t forget to swing by
Pineapple Lanai for the iconic DOLE Whip® treat before retiring for the day.
I can understand wanting your own vehicle for this experience, but I want to share that complimentary transportation is also available from Pop Century to the golf course if you prefer.
Please see the transportation details at the bottom of this page. If you decide to bring your own vehicle, there is no fee for parking at the golf course.
I hope you have a wonderful day with a peaceful round of golf followed by a well-earned meal at Captain Cook’s! Please let us know if you have any additional questions that we can help with to maximize the magic on your vacation.
Wishing you blue skies and sunshine,
Amy
