For July 4 fireworks, we would like to rent a motorized pontoon at Wilderness Resort for approximately one hour. Fireworks are at 10:00 p.m. Do you think that's possible?

    Hello Mary!

As my friend Crush would say--it's totally tubular to hear from you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for jumping in our current and asking your question.

While I agree renting a motorized boat sounds like a practically perfect way to catch the Fourth of July celebration in the sky, unfortunately, the Fort Wilderness Marina usually closes for personal rentals around 5:00 PM. Instead, perhaps you could arrange one of the incredible Fireworks Specialty Cruises to enjoy the show? This is a wonderful way to reserve the perfect viewing spot and enjoy an evening snack with your party. Another great way to view the fireworks from outside the park is to visit one of the monorail resorts. This way you could plan your evening dining reservations and not miss out on the spectacular show.

Have a magical, star-spangled vacation, Mary, and please visit us again if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
