    HI Juliette--- We own through RCI---I see you booked a Disney resort using RCI. Were you able to find availability at a Disney resort right away or did you have an "ongoing search.?" We are afraid a resort might not become available. How long

    Hi Sherry! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I actually have not exchanged with RCI - sorry for the confusion. I'm a Disney Vacation Club member so I've been able to make all my Disney vacation accommodations directly through Disney Vacation Club and the Disney Collection. 

    Since I purchased directly from Disney, I can turn my vacation points into a global passport to vacation destinations with the World Collection that's available with exchanges through RCI and Buena Vista Trading Company.

    As a RCI Member you can exchange your resort stay for a Disney Vacation Club member's stay. I've answered a number of RCI guest questions about upcoming stays at Walt Disney World Resort so it definitely works. However it is an exchange process, so it does depend on a Disney Vacation Club Member and RCI Member being willing to exchange their stays.

    I would recommend that you contact RCI and find out the specifics about how your membership works with exchanges at Walt Disney World Resort.
