Like Judy Hopps felt when she entered Zootopia for the first time - we are EXCITED to be annual passholders today! Is there an easy way to turn my current vacation offer room for summer to the AP rate online? Many thanks!

    Hiya, Courtney!

Wow, such a special day to become a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! Congratulations on deciding to make more magical memories with your family and investing in this special ticket offer. I also just took advantage of the sale for Annual Passes as a Disney Vacation Club Member, and I’m thrilled to be back in the Passholder club again after a few years’ hiatus. I understand wanting to use your Passholder Benefits right away, so let’s see how to modify your current plans.

You can modify existing room reservations as new Special Offers become available. First, you should already see your new Annual Passholder status reflected in your Memberships and Affiliations under your Profile on your My Disney Experience account. This affiliation is what enables you to see the relevant current offers for your family. On the Special Offers page, there is an opportunity for Annual Passholders to save up to 30 percent off a room-only reservation from May 1, 2023 to July 10, 2023. Since your trip falls within these dates, you may see what’s available. Log into your My Disney Experience account on a computer and follow these steps:

    • Navigate to your Future Plans
    • On your room reservation, click Change Reservation (don’t worry, no changes will be made just yet)
    • Your reservation will appear with the Vacation Offer at the top of the summary screen
    • Click on Change to search for other available offers, including the Passholder Room Offer

You can see what rooms are available for this special rate during your travel dates, and even change resorts if you see something you like. During this process you can cancel the steps at any time to keep your existing reservation or confirm your new room and review any change to your vacation price before finalizing.

I love having this flexibility with my Disney plans, and often book a Disney Resorts Collection hotel room as soon as I know I will be making a visit and adjust the reservation as new Special Offers become available closer to my travel dates. As Annual Passholders, you may find that your vacation style or cadence changes and you’ll be making room reservations more frequently! I suggest you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any new offers or events that may spark some inspiration for another trip to your happy place to make the most of your new Passholder status.

The first time you visit a theme park with your new Annual Pass, it will be activated and then expire one year from that date. Don’t forget to stop by Guest Relations for a physical Annual Passholder card. Be sure to review the Annual Passholder Benefits in advance of your trip to maximize your savings when you flash that shiny new pass throughout your vacation this summer.

Please let us know if you have any more questions about how to make the most of this special pass, Courtney. Thank you for being such a great supporter of planDisney, and I hope to see ya again real soon!

    YOU are the magic,
    Amy
