Hi Jo! We stayed at Saratoga Springs last year and enjoyed using the boat to and from Downtown Disney. Is there a way to walk to Downtown Disney and is it very far?

    Hi Tracy,

I'm afraid you may have asked the wrong panellist this question, my husband and I love walking and regularly go on 5 mile hikes!

To answer your question yes it is possible to walk from Saratoga Springs Resort to Downtown Disney, I did so 2 years ago with some wonderful friends. It is roughly a 15-20 minute walk depending on which part of SSR you are staying at and how fast you walk. There are numerous walkways so it is easy to get a little lost but there are several maps along the route. I thought the walk was lovely and not too far but the friend I was with didn't and I don't think she would ever walk it again, so please bear in mind what distances you can walk comfortably before setting off. If you have little children I would definitely recommend the boat or bus option.

    Have a great trip,

    Jo
