Hi Jonathan:
Walt Disney World is a great place to go pubbing, and a few options for you come to mind.
Number one is
Raglan Road Irish Pub located in Downtown Disney. Aside from boasting four bars with numerous beers on tap, Raglan Road serves lunch, dinner, and late-night meals. Also try
Rose & Crown in the UK Pavilion at Epcot. The bar area inside the restaurant serves authentic UK standard beers on tap. Another option is
Big River Grille & Brewing Works on Disney's Boardwalk. Big River is a microbrewery and the only working brewpub at Walt Disney World Resort. In addition to great beer, the restaurant also features great American pub food. Another option, while not a traditional pub, is
ESPN Club, also located on Disney's Boardwalk. Enjoy your beer with burgers and sandwiches while taking in all that sports you can consume on the 90 square-foot high-definition video wall.
If beer or other libations in a non-"club-like" atmosphere is what you are looking for, think about dedicating an evening to strolling along Epcot's World Showcase and sampling beers and drinks from around the "World." While selections are subject to change, I've enjoyed (spread out over many trips, of course) Moosehead at the Canada Pavilion, Kirin at the Japan Pavilion, Tsing Tao at the China Pavilion, Sam Adams at the American Pavilion, Guinness at the UK Pavilion, an Oktoberfest brew at the Germany Pavilion, and many others along the way.
Cheers, Salud, Prost, and L'Chaim
