Hi Jonas. In one of your answers to someone's question, you mentioned The Great Piggy Bank at Innoventions in Epcot. 1st trip in Feb w/ DS5, what else can you suggest in Innoventions for his age? Saw something about Where's the Fire?, is that still around?

    Hi Melissa:

Innoventions is an interactive and educational play space for kids that is divided into two buildings, an "east" and "west" section.

The West pavillion hosts my boys' (ages 5 and 4) favorite, The Great Piggy Bank Adventure.  This experience is divided into several sections where you play different games to save money while learning about the importance of saving.  This game is perfect for a five year old.  The West section also currently houses Where's the Fire.  We always stop by so my boys can jump on the fire engine and we can take their pictures.  My boys also check out some of the video games on the far back wall across from the Segway section.  But by far, most of their time at Innoventions is spent playing The Great Piggy Bank Adventure. We had fun playing it on an early visit, and during repeat visits, it's one of their most requested attractions.  While we are at Innoventions, we pick up passes to play Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure later in the day.

My boys don't tend to spend much time in the "East" pavillion for some reason, but I would check it out.  As of now, there are learning sections on storms, recycling and the environment.  There's also a very popular virtual rollercoaster simulator, The Sum of All Thrills.

Enjoy your vacation. Since it's a first visit, check in at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up "first-visit" buttons. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to greet your family with a kind gesture.
