Welcome to planDisney, Michael!
Thanks for stopping by to chat about your upcoming jolly holiday to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be delighted to discuss your vacation plans. Let's get
glowing!
Once you've secured tickets for a special event like
Disney Jollywood Nights or
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party,
the tickets will appear in the "My Tickets and Passes" section of My Disney Experience but not in "Future Plans." That area shows only resort stays, dining reservations, and
theme park reservations (if your tickets require them). When it's party time, head to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and scan into the entrance using either a
MagicBand or
mobile device. Make sure each ticket is linked to the correct Guest in your party in My Disney Experience to avoid problems at the park entrance.
I hope this is helpful, Michael. Before I go, I'll share a few tips for making the most of your star-studded evening.
*The main event starts at 7:30 PM, but your ticket allows you to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios at 6 PM on party night. I recommend arriving early, getting acclimated, and enjoying an attraction before the event-specific entertainment begins.
*Many Guests dress up in old Hollywood-inspired attire. Outfitting your group with a theme will make for some fantastic photos!
*Speaking of photos, your event ticket includes digital downloads of
Disney Photopass images taken that night. Be sure to stop for all the photographers!
*It isn't easy to experience all the entertainment, character greetings, and snacks in one evening. Look at the lineup and prioritize your must-dos. As a Muppets fan, Disney Holidays in Hollywood would be my number one pick, but my daughter adores
The Nightmare Before Christmas. She would insist on seeing the Jack Skellington show in the Hyperion Theater!
*Follow
planDisney on Instagram and the
Disney Parks Blog for event updates as the holiday season approaches.
Thanks again for sending your question to us, Michael. If there's anything else we can do to make your December adventure even more special, don't hesitate to reach out.
Best wishes for a memorable trip,
Betsy
