    My mom's joining the 3 of us for her 1st WDW visit. She's exited but wonders if she'll have as much fun as we will (doesn't speak English), trying to catch up with the jokes of some attractions. Is there some sort of translation device that we could rent?

    Hi Roberta!

         You are so sweet to think of your mother's enjoyment!  As a matter of fact, your mom can borrow an "Ears to the World" digital listening device from the Guest Relations department in each park.  They will charge a $100 security deposit, but will refund the deposit once the device is safely returned.  As of now, these cool headsets are available for those guests speaking Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Portuguese. 

         Please feel free to contact me and let me know what your mother's language is - I may be able to find the Disney website translation!  I hope that you all have a wonderful trip!
