    Just joined DVC on Saturday. Excited beyond belief! We already had a cruise booked on the Magic (Mar. 31, 2014). Not using points for the cruise, but I was wondering if there are any discounts available.

    Howdy Elizabeth!  Let me begin by saying WELCOME TO DISNEY VACATION CLUB!!!!  I’m so excited for you!!  You will make treasured memories for years to come through your Disney Vacation Club Membership!
     
    You are going to love every minute on the Disney Magic!  Animator's Palate was just one of the many highlights we experienced while on board.  The food and service were, of course, exceptional.  Watching the characters transform before our eyes is something that our kiddos still talk about!  Magical!
     
    At this time, there are no Disney Vacation Club discounts available for Disney Cruise bookings.  Be sure you check the Member website and Member emails as Disney Vacation Club will send out information when special booking offers are available. Unfortunately, there are no additional discounts once you get onboard the ship. 
     
    Because you are a new Member, I want to be sure you are aware of a very special experience available only to Disney Vacation Club Members.  Each year Disney Vacation Club offers Members the ultimate experience of a Member Cruise.  This four-day cruise is a fun filled event that includes all the magic of a Disney Cruise but with the added pixie dust of daily commemorative gifts, special guest speakers and other surprises that make this one of the most coveted experiences for Disney Vacation Club Members.  I have met many Members who have made the Member Cruise an annual vacation.  A Member Cruise is on the top of my bucket list!  Maybe I’ll see you there next year!
