Can you join a virtual que at 7 AM, but then start a different park with a park hopper ticket? For example, can you join the virtual que for guardians, but then start at Animal Kingdom since the park opens an hour earlier?

Hey, howdy, hey, Scott! Thanks for hopping by planDisney with your question today; it sounds like you're making plans to put your park hopping ticket to good use, so let's dive into the logistics of the Virtual Queue system so you can make the most of your time at both parks and ensure your chance at an intergalactic adventure on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!

With the reinstatement of all-day park hopping in 2024, Guests may now elect to join one Virtual Queue at 7 AM at any theme park for which they have a valid admission. So with your Park Hopper Option, you will be eligible to join the virtual queue for either Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or TRON Lightcycle/Run on any day your ticket is valid. This can be done from anywhere in the universe - including your comfy resort bed or a Disney resort bus on your way to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

Once you've secured your boarding group, you can keep track of your estimated wait time through the My Disney Experience mobile app while you enjoy your favorite attractions at Animal Kingdom. When it's time to head over to EPCOT, Disney provides complimentary bus transportation between the theme parks to help you get to your next destination. Currently, the park-to-park bus system starts running at 10 AM, but this is subject to change. You can always ask a Cast Member at the park entrance to confirm the bus times for you upon your arrival.

Scott, while you're enjoying Animal Kingdom, don't miss the Festival of the Lion King! It's been my favorite show since I first saw it in 1999; the tumble monkeys and acrobats combined with the lively music, costumes, and pageantry of the attraction are top-notch! Say hello to Pumba for me!

One last tip I'll leave you with, Scott, is that you can also purchase an Individual Lightning Lane entry for Guardians of the Galaxy. This is a good backup option in the event you aren't able to secure a boarding group at 7 AM. You also will have a second chance to join the virtual queue at 1 PM, but you will need to be inside of the theme park where the virtual queue will be used.

I hope this helps you to plan for a magical day of park-hopping on your upcoming visit, and I wish you much success on your mission to save the galaxy! If we can help with any other vacation planning questions, you're always welcome to be our guest here at planDisney!

    See you real soon,
