Hi there Julia,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I'm thrilled to see that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort in sunny California later this month - it'll be here before you know it!
The Disneyland Resort has utilized
Virtual Queues at various times over the past few years, but currently the only experience utilizing this feature is
World of Color - ONE. If you're hoping to join this virtual queue during your visit, you can sign up through your
Disneyland Resort mobile app on the day that you're hoping to see this nighttime spectacular.
I have heard people accidentally swap terminology with Virtual Queues and Lightning Lanes, so just in case that's what you meant, I'll also quickly cover how those work as well! There is some similarity in how you book them, but they ultimately do function a bit differently from one another.
To access Lightning Lanes for select attractions at the Happiest Place on Earth, you'll need to purchase
Disney Genie+ Service. With this service, you can select the next available arrival window for
Lightning Lane entrances at select attractions, one at a time, all day long. So it's not one selection per day, but one at a time.
Thanks again for your question, Julia! If you think of any follow-ups, feel free to come back and see us. We'd love to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
